What DanF doesn't like about Garibaldis:
Garibaldi's is a great restaurant for a special occasion. What they manage better than most is consistancy. If you have a particular dish today, and come back in 6 months, it will tast the same, although portion sizes sometimes change. Last night's asparagus appitizer was a bit skimpy only 4 spears. As a resident of Laurel Heights for 43 years, this neighborhood gem has always been a favorite !!!
We have been going to Garibaldi’s for years. Their menu has some old standbys, but regularly changes to reflect the seasons, for example, two new appetizers we enjoyed last night were fresh peaches with prosciutto and heirloom tomatoes. The attentive wait staff and gracious hostess make the evening special, over and over again.
We love this restaurant everything is wonderful. The best best chicken Milanese in the world.
