Everything about Amal’s Deli, I love! I go in almost everyday to see Ma and everyday I leave with some good food and I smile after seeing Ma. My favorite is her chicken noodle soup, this soup will rid you of sickness!

I’m not sure of her name, but the sweet lady working behind the deli counter is a gem. Also, she makes the most incredible chili!

Amal is the BEST! She makes you feel welcome immediately and is simply one of the kindest people you will meet. She also takes great pride in her shop, constantly improving it, adding more inventory, responding to customers’ input, etc. It is an absolute pleasure to shop here! The vegan red lentas soup is delicious and tons of diverse, unique products too!

Go-to place for Phoenix Haus’s (Haight street co-op) drink and snack needs. Unfortunately they are temporarily closed at the time of this review while the building undergoes renovations. In the meantime, we ordered some lentil soup from them and it was incredible! The spices they used were absolutely delicious. I definitely want to try more of their food!
