Tokyo Sushi Loha - San Diego

Walked in at about 9:00 and were told they were closing at 10:00, we could come in and order if we knew what we wanted. Seated immediately, a few tables were occupied and eating. Let's just say we were out by 9:35. I've never felt so uncomfortable and rushed to eat and get out. Waiter came by and told us last call, if we wanted anything else, I understand last call. Got our food pretty quick, of course. Once our food arrived they started cleaning all around us. Literally closing up shop and turning bright lights up. Soooo rude. It wasn't even 9:30. Why not close earlier or not serve us. It was not an enjoyable experience.

Truly outstanding. Everything about this place. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The service is quick and attentive. The food is incredible- fresh and delicious. Our favorites are the sunomono salad, the fried gyoza, the rolls and the bento boxes. Prices are good too. We eat here almost weekly and bring out of town guests here too. So so good.

Sushi was amazing! I highly recommend the Crunch Scallop Roll. It includes deep fried scallops which were amazing! Other notable mention would be their Palm Spring roll. It's a California roll with fresh tuna and veggies on the side. Service was great. We were constantly checked on and made sure we were ok.

Tune carpaccio was yummy with lots of flavor, we got the crunchy tuna roll and it was delish, the sauce on top was phenomenal. Pan steamed pork dumplings were on par. Overall a good quick stop in for some sushi!

The service was good and the food was good. Love the decor it match the ambiance of the place.
