I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday morning, and it wasn’t very crowded. The patio seating is lovely, offering plenty of spots to relax amidst some greenery. I ordered the bottomless coffee and the traditional waffle, which is gigantic—definitely enough for one person. It was served with some delightful butter and maple syrup. Whenever I’m in Point Loma and craving breakfast, I’ll be coming back here for sure! View all feedback.
I had breakfast at this restaurant, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Cecilia, the co-owner, visited our table to greet us and take our order while her husband welcomed other guests. She was incredibly friendly. My breakfast croissant was absolutely delicious, and my partner enjoyed the avocado toast. We both loved our meals. We also struck up a conversation with the person at the next table, who raved about her eggs Benedict. I highly recommend dining here—you won’t regret it!
My first impressions included the refreshing cucumber-flavored water and the delicious-looking food displayed around the restaurant. To The Point truly lives up to its name, highlighting its commitment to serving the best of Californian cuisine. I ordered the turkey club and fries, and I must say, the food was fantastic. The water was just right for the lovely weather that day. Being the only customers in the restaurant during the mid-afternoon made for a nice, relaxed experience, and our meals arrived promptly. Flipping through the rest of the menu reminded me that I should be eating this way more often! (laughs) The highlight of our visit happened shortly after I posted a picture of my meal on Yelp. A sharply dressed man approached us and asked, "Which one of you posted this online?" I smiled and admitted it was me, mentioning my Yelp addiction. He chuckled and said, "Alright, just make sure to give us a good review." So, in keeping with my promise, here it is. If I lived in San Diego, this would definitely be one of my go-to spots. I hope everyone gives it a try!
Absolutely fantastic! Tommy was an incredible host and server. He made us feel welcomed and was incredibly friendly. This was my first breakfast in San Diego, and I couldn't be happier. I ordered the quesadilla, which was a generous portion and absolutely delicious. I thought I would need ketchup, but I was completely wrong—I didn't even touch the bottle! My mom ordered the lox platter and was more than satisfied with her meal. Their organic drip coffee is also outstanding. Overall, this place is excellent. I highly recommend this charming little café. The atmosphere is adorable, and the music is great too.
With our AirBnB located in such a cramped and shabby neighborhood of San Diego, I didn't think we could manage to find such a bright and delightful brunch joint literally one turn around the corner. The place felt pretty homey, with an outdoor patio out in the sunlight. Waitress was pretty friendly. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla and was surprised by how large it was. The 4 huge, green spinach tortilla wraps were STUFFED with eggs, potato hash, and other gud stuff. I barely managed to finish off two, and it was well worth the price in my opinion. Everyone else enjoyed their egg benedicts, which were presented on the plates very nicely. My only complaint was that $2.50 worth of orange juice came in a very tiny mason jar, and was slightly sour. Overall, this meal got my day off to a great start.
Aloha yes I'm still eating my way through San Diego. A cool hipster neighborhood breakfast spot off the beaten path as you're heading in or out of the Point Loma Ocean Beach area hence the name. Nice outdoor seating with full service dogs allowed so fun to pet a few here and there. My eggs Benedict with smoked meat was best I've had in a long time reminded me of old Tahitian Lanai with the generous portion of hollandaise sauce nice. Looked like everyone enjoyed their brunch. Great stop on our way to the airport.
