I got her lobster pot and it was good. I love the variety of items they contain in their pots. Their portions are always generous and amazing here. The broth was somewhat underwhelming and there was no depth of taste. id recommend to get the green tea, it is deliciously sweetened. Give it a 4 due to the long wait and bad service. What User doesn't like about Tasty Pot:
Individual soup noodles, hotpot style. Missing the whole point of getting together as a family/group of friends to share a meal together. Food was mediocre. Broth was underwhelming. Service was so-so. It was hard to get anyone's attention. They served water in non-reusable plastic cups ? Not to mention that this place was extremely overpriced. What's the hype???? Party of three came in and was seated around 5:30pm, just before dinner rush!! My go to is the beef hot pot mild. I like to make my sauce and adjust the spiciness there. So ordering is via app. The hot pot usually comes with vermicelli. So when they ask if you want a free vermicelli or rice bowl I always get a bowl of rice. Anyway, I forgot that little detail this time and asked for vermicelli PLUS extra rice lol. My bad. Anyway, food came out so fast! You already know I sauced up so I honestly mix a whollllle lot of the soybean paste touch of chili oil a couple spoonfuls of the sweet soy sauce mix. I refilled my sauce bowl twice cos sooo good. The hotpot was very filling.

Spacious hot pot place with plenty of tables indoors and outdoors. This is a franchise which is also available in the SF bay area. The bay area locations offer snacks too, e.g. crispy chicken. This location in SD only offers 12 options of hot pot and milk tea drinks.Food: 5/5

Tasty pot never fails to provide consistent quality! you can even sub your pot with a different soup. I usually get the beef pot and do taiwanese spicy soup!! the sauces are also very good. They have bean curd, soy sauce, and chilli oilThings to note: music was not too loud, very family friendly location. Great for dates or catching up
