Sportsmen's Seafood - San Diego

I want to begin by highlighting how wonderful the staff is at this restaurant. They were friendly and engaging throughout our visit. I've noticed some reviews mentioning that the food isn't great, which may be due to the fast food-style setup. However, I can confidently say that it definitely surpasses other fast food options we've tried! Thank you for the fantastic meal, and we look forward to returning the next time we're in town!

Disappointing experience. My daughter ordered the fried shrimp, but it arrived dirty and overcooked. I tried the fried halibut taco, and it was also overfried. The mayo and cheese didn’t improve the dish at all. The only positive aspect was the convenience of the location.

I was really disappointed with my experience. I specifically requested sushi cuts, but they completely missed the mark. It was clearly noted on the order slip and on the vacuum bag containing the order details, yet my entire 160lb personal best bluefin tuna was cut into 1lb pieces. It was a classic case of "you had one job."

Fish was a little bit dry, chips were well seasoned. Cool location at the harbor.Next time I will try the clam chowder.

My meal, halibut plate, was over cooked but the rest of the family got fried seafood which was good. Willing to give it another try. Love the rustic on the docks vibe and the exotic fish tank was a show stopper.
