The portions are generous and the tacos are scrumptious! I adore the ambiance of this restaurant, great music and a fantastic vibe! (Updated from a previous review on October 3, 2020) View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Salud:
I was eager to try this restaurant specifically for their vegan tacos, but sadly I was disappointed. The tacos were lacking in seasoning and flavor. Despite the long line, I found both the fungal tacos (without cheese) and veggie tacos to be bland. The paprika and vegetables were soggy and lacked any discernible seasoning. I am still taken aback by the lack of taste. At $4 per taco, I do not plan on returning to this... View all feedback.
Today, my family and I decided to give Salud a try, and we found it to be quite tasty. My mom and I ordered tacos with potato and vegetable fillings, opting to make them vegan by omitting the cheese. The staff appeared to be knowledgeable about vegan options and were willing to accommodate our requests. The food was fresh and flavorful, although it didn't completely wow me. If I were dining with non-vegan friends, I would consider returning, but as a vegan myself, I wouldn't make it my top choice. The wait time was a bit lengthy, and parking was difficult, which reinforced my overall okay impression of the restaurant. Admittedly, I am particular when it comes to tacos and salsas. Despite this, I can understand the appeal with its lively atmosphere and beverage selection. In conclusion, I would recommend Salud for a quick meal in the area, especially for those seeking safe vegan options.
I was very eager to try this restaurant because of their special vegan taco options. However, I was disappointed to find that the tacos were lacking in seasoning and flavor. Despite the long line outside, the mushroom tacos without cheese and the veggie tacos were both tasteless. The peppers and onions were soggy and devoid of any seasoning. I was surprised by the lack of flavor considering the price of $4 per taco. I don't think I would return to this place.
We were searching for the top fish tacos and they did not let us down.
Maybe because it was the day after Christmas, but they were out of fish and shrimp, and only had bottles of water to be purchased. Tacos were only okay, not much flavor. Didn't understand the hype.
Taco de barrio and Diablo shrimp taco carne asada were excellent! Bummed they were out of michelada seasoning.
