Quick Wok - San Diego

I ordered from the lunch menu and my dish came with rice and a choice of soup or salad. The food was reasonably priced at around $8 per dish. The portion size depends on how much you eat - perfect for one person if you have a full meal. If you are a thinner person (someone who eats less than 650 calories), it could feed two people since they give a lot of rice. I picked up my order since dine-in was closed, and it only took 5-10 minutes to get from my office to the location, so the food was still hot. I would give it a 3 out of 5 because my expectations were met. The food was decent but nothing extraordinary - everything was average. Not great, but not bad either. It was good.

I love this place. I believe they have reasonable prices. One time the system was down and was given the option to pay through Venmo which was convenient. The downside is that sometimes the cashier just ignores you and talks to the others and you are just left standing waiting for your order to be taken.

A very filling fresh cook lunch. Friendly and fast service. Highly recommend.

An older woman took my order and we talked (I presume her and her husband are the owners). She was very nice and told me she's been doing this for 30 years now. She was helpful and answered all my questions. I'll be coming back!

Absolutely a top place for Chinese here in San Diego. A hole in the wall. Sure a gem. Food made fresh. Great flavourful taste. Made exactly how I asked no arguing. I’d recommend anyone to this spot. Oh and don’t forget to tip. “Drop it like it’s hot!” Check out the tip jar.
