Polanco Kitchen And Hilton Mission Valley

This was my second visit to Polanco K B, and I was still quite impressed. Our waiter, Miguel, was a bit abrasive but eager to please, just like his assistant, Peter. I appreciated the well-lit atmosphere, which made it easy to see the menu and food. The prawn appetizer was huge and sweet, and we also enjoyed the 'mixto' Mexican cocktail. Next time, I'm looking forward to trying the 'leche de tigre' style. The steaks were cooked to perfection and came topped with huitlacoche butter, which is the Mexican equivalent of truffle butter. For dessert, the dulce de leche pudding was delicious—just the right amount of sweetness, topped with whipped cream and a crispy sprinkle.

The dining experience was enjoyable, but the overall atmosphere of the restaurant felt a bit lackluster. I’m not sure I would return unless I happened to be in the area. The margarita was excellent, but on the pricey side.
