Pho Xpress - San Diego

Food was really good only reason I’m not giving a 5 star bcz the pho bowls could have come in medium large. I’m Fresno, ca the bowls for a medium is $7 the large ones are $12-13. Here you get one size for $13. Service is really nice very friendly clean!!

I stumbled upon a charming family-owned pho restaurant nestled in the Gaslamp district of San Diego. The pho, which is the highlight, was absolutely scrumptious. The broth was a delightful mix of lightness and rich flavors. It was so good that when the server came to clear my table, I had to hold onto my bowl just to savor the last of the broth. I was tempted to rate it five stars, but the Banh Mi didn't quite hit the mark. While it included the usual pickled daikon and carrots, it somehow missed that tangy punch I was looking forward to. Still a must visit if you are in the area and craving Vietnamese food.

Was here because we missed asian food, turns out the owner used to live in indonesia. The food is good, the place is clean, the seevice is great. Semoga sukses selalu!

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine and perfect for one that are away from Asia home for a long while. Has Xpress Pho and Xpress Wing. Both are delicious and food comes super fast. Small family own restaurant, staffs are very friendly!
