I just moved to Carmel Mountain Ranch and was in search of a Thai restaurant. Thank goodness I found Pattaya thai, best food I've had for thai food. Make sure to try their satay chicken and yellow curry. I'll be back for sure. View all feedback.
What Michele M doesn't like about Pattaya Thai:
Decided to give them another try. Tom Yum Soup was so salty, we couldn't finish it. I was disappointed because I usually like the flavor of their soup. The Pad Thai was weirdly sour. My friend couldn't even eat half of her order. The Cashew Chicken was decent and the steam rice was hard. I asked today if they changed owners because of the new menu but she said no. Maybe they changed chefs? Service was still friendly. View all feedback.

Good service. Really good food. I have been learning a lot more about thai food lately. Having travelled through most of Southeast Asia, I am not very familiar with a lot of the food. I had dinner here and my sister ordered as she is more familiar with the food. Calamri was good but had a spicey kick to it. I was surprised by it. I forget what she called the rolls. It had a lot of vegetables in it. We ordered chicken and shrimp. I did not really taste any shrimp. The sauce that came with it was really good. Food came with regular rice but we ordered crab rice. It was good. Three flavored fish reminded me of regular fish sticks. It came with a sauce I did not try. Drunken noodles were good. Service was good. Staff friendly.

We are in town for the weekend for my sons 2nd bday celebration so we came to Yelp to see what was popular around our hotel! We came here expecting just a normal tai food experience but we got something amazing! We ordered the Chicken pad tai, the popular curry and also an order of chicken fried rice. Everything was amazing but let me say the pad tai was AMAZING and spot on! We had a little hiccup with the first pad tai but they made another one and it was even better. The restaurant is very clean and the wait staff and owner (I 'm assuming) it was the lady that helped us, were very nice and stayed on top of our refills which is awesome! The flavors were right on and I like that they let you order how spicy you want your food. We didn 't get anything spicy but my son ate a lot of pad tai and rice so we were excited about that. Overall the 5 stars comes from:FAST SERVICE, FAST HOT FOOD, THEY CELEBRATED AND SANG TO MY SON FOR HIS 2nd BIRTHDAY AND OVERALL THE PRICING WASN 'T OUTRAGEOUS HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING IF YOUR BIG ON TAI FOOD!!!
Came here to get some Thai food in Carmel mtn and ordered Pad Thai, Thai Papaya salad and beef jerky. The food was good. The staff was really nice and very helpful. I ordered with the heat of number 2 so it wasn't as spicy but you can also ask for the spice tray and adjust the spice level to your liking. I ordered the beef jerky but wished they had sticky rice to go with it, the dipping sauce with the jerky was very tasty.
