I’m so happy with this meal! The store is at Carmel Mountain Plaza, nice spot! It’s very cute inside, feels very artistic and cozy. I ordered a crawfish bowl, Dynamite sweet potato fries and a bottle of apple juice. I never had a bowl like that and it is soooooo delicious, surprisingly the crawfish goes so well with rice with their sauce, which I tasted eel sauce and some mayo. I highly recommend this. Been coming for years non the less I will keep coming back the owner him self is a very down to earth person ? best quick Filipino food you can find!
Really a 3 star in my mind, but want to be kind cause this is a great find in Carmel Mountain/RB area.Ordered Adobo Rice, Tapsilog, and Loco Burger bowl.Tapsilog meat was dry (perhaps that's how it should be? Rice didn't taste garlic-y enough, but the dressing was great!Loco Burger wasn't great. Patty was dry, and there wasnt enough gravy. If the restaurant is worried about over soaking the rice, perhaps put gravy in a separate container like Jollibee does?Adobo Bowl was great all around.Otherwise there wasn't any veggie in the bowl. A few broccoli pieces or pickled onion would go well with it!Service wise, the wait was very long. Waited around 30min for our food on a Saturday night. So definitely try to order ahead....All around lots of potential to be a great restaurant. Just hope the execution is sightly better.
Oi Asian Fusion has a great mix of food with a few newer items (for me and some comfort food favorites (loco Moco in a bowl, yes please! . I wanted to try something different so I went with the pork belly Adobo Bowl for my main. The pork melted in your mouth soft and the sauce was subtle and a little salty and so good. The egg was cooked perfectly with just a little bit of a runny yolk. The scallions brought a bit of crunch. This bowl was loaded with goodness and super filling.I love coconut so the Buko Pandan was an easy choice for me. It was light and tasty yet indulgent and the size was the perfect amount. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the amount of food you get. The bowls are stuffed and very filling. I actually had enough for breakfast and linner (later lunch/early dinner . Cannot wait to hear back and try out the chicken Karaage. The staff is amazing, so nice and food came out very quickly for the amount of people that were there. For sure add Oi Fusion to your list of places to check out!

The Dynamite sweet potato fries is also a must have, the sweet potatoes are fried perfectly and the sauce is delicious. I definitely highly recommend this place. Plus their service is very friendly.
Lunch during the workday. It can be such a welcome respite from the madness. Before I transitioned into retirement it was about way more than just grabbing a bite to eat for me. When properly observed it was a time to recharge and prepare for the unknown challenges coming my way before I could eventually leave for home.If I had @oiasianfusion available to me back in those days I know that I would have loved coming here to seek lunch time refuge. The first thing you notice about their Pilipino/Japanese fusion is the smell. Somehow the scent wafts over to your table even before your meal arrives. Couple that smell with the visual presentation and your anticipation really kicks in.Rice bowls are their speciality and we sampled their “Dobo Bowl” the pork had great flavor, the soft boiled egg was a great compliment, and this meal would have been complete if all it featured were the gravy and rice and their “Karaage Rice Bowl” the rice was best described as buttery and the Japanese fried chicken was crunchy, delicious, and had great texture .We also sampled the “Pork Bun” which benefited magnificently from the flavors of the cucumber slices, of all things, and the bun was best described as resembling sweet bread .I also really enjoyed the great lunch hour blend of music they were playing “Nu Flavor” and “Az Yet” and attempting to label it. I felt pretty good with my initial label of “boy band” themed…until songs by Mary J. Bilge and “Total” came on. I eventually settled on “harmonizing vocals“ for my musical label for our visit. We found the service to be super friendly and welcoming. Their Vegan options are limited, but with a few subtractions during the ordering process you’ll be fine if that happens to be your preference .And that’s…Henry’s Take.#sandiegoasianfusion#riceislife
