I stopped at this place for a quick bite. It was late in the afternoon and the place was randomly filled with scattered people working on their laptops or chatting. It is a full relaxed and casual place. I usually stop drinking coffee after lunch, so it couldn't drink. I had a frittata and that was pretty good. However, I felt $5 is a little pricy for the piece I had. But I will soon return to this place for my morni... View all feedback.

I was randomly on this place when I left from here another restaurant on the street. I saw the name when I came by and made an instant U-turn to go back for a mini photo shoot. lestat (the real lestat) and I have a long history, so of course I was very interested. I was not in this night, but I returned in the following night. we have cut off a family member at the bus stop, but the bus will be 3 hours too late. I remembered this place for happiness. I checked her hours, and how a good vampir they are open 24-7. win! we've been on a parking lot right in front of the place. it was 10:30 a.m. on a Sunday night and it was crisp-lacking (aka busy.) we found a ecstatic and posted. I went into the counter to see what or if they had any vegan-friendly items. that they have! their dessert case, which houses a nice selection of pastries and sweets, had several vegan options. I have the vegan cookies n' creamcake and a hot koko with soy milk, no whipped cream. the part of the cake was pretty good, not as humid as I prefer, but it was decent enough. the icing was really good. dd (not a vegan) got a regular carrot cake cupcake they enjoyed well. I did not ask for any vegan options on their menu. Maybe next time. while I was at the theke, I spoke to the employees and asked for the chosen name for this nice little institution. they asked me if I had ever heard of anne rice (lol), and told me that it was named after one of their vampir figures. I then proudly exposed my right shoulder and showed them my lestat tattoo. I can't tell them how happy I was at this moment. lol anyway, super sweet caffe. also for a caffe. a reasonable space. a lot to study, hang, etc. go on, but without disturbing jolts. free Wi-Fi. street parking. my only question was that there were several flocks in the Dessert case. I don't like that, except that, awesome place. next visit at san I will see again what else I can sink my teeth. bis

Definitely this place is a a coffee house-stick with that. Lots of choices and a good environment to drink your coffee and work on your laptop. As far as the sandwiches available (didn't try the salads or other offerings), try somewhere else. After the parade, my friends and I stopped by for a late lunch on the way home. One friend ordered a Cubano, another ordered Rubén, I ordered the brisket sandwich, each costing $15+. The sandwiches arrived shortly due to only one employee being on duty. For the price, they were very stingy with the meager portion of meat. The Ruben had 3 small slices of meat, the cubano had a couple of (what looked like) black forest ham sandwich slices and a couple of small pieces (not even a slice) of roast pork. The brisket had 3 thin slices of meat. The sandwiches were OK (except the cubano which didn't look or taste like a real Cuban sandwich). But, they looked like an afterthought, not worth the price. So, for coffee, back to Starbucks and for a good sandwich, a nice sandwich shop or restaurant. Good place for students to do homework but not for real food.
Spacious coffee shop with NOLA French Quarter vibes. I assume it’s named after the infamous NOLA vampire. Good spot to work for night owls.
Barista was super firendly and helpful. Comodious leaving enought room for groups to study, but I studied alone that day. The huge couch was comfy too. I like this place. Go check it out...now....what are you waiting for?Food: 4/5
