What User doesn't like about Lazy Hippo:
I liked having breakfast options that were vegan but I wouldn’t go back.. I think these dishes need a little more attention. My burrito lacked salt and my boyfriends enchiladas were “sweet and average”. There are probably better options to go for breakfast but if you’re in the area maybe drop by and give it a go! We showed up 10 minutes after the opening on Saturday and immediately got a table. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was spectacular. We have the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and they were amazing!!! We also have the Huevos rancheros and it was a healthy portion. We will definitely recommend this place, it's worth the hype!
TASTY breakfast. Great menu. We enjoyed the huevos rancheros and eggs with ham and cheese in one skill. Friendly, but slooooooooow service.

The front staff was not good at managing seats. We waited for an hour when they told us that waiting would be 15-20 minutes for a table for two. We have not given any preference for outdoor/internal seats and there were several open tables in the indoor and outdoor areas. In the end, they gave us a table at one of those seats that were open and available since the last hour. The worst skills of table management.
Excellent brunch spot in gaslamp, with everything you?d want large portions, good food, extensive drink menu, etc. The only negative thing we experienced was a bit of a long wait for the food/drinks, and two of the beers we ordered were unavailable. However, the food was hot when it arrived, the service was still good, and we enjoyed our experience. Get their breakfast special!
