What reza shakeri doesn't like about Ken Sushi Workshop:
4 of us sat down at 545 and they wanted us out by 715 even tough we spent $125 per head. We were thinking about ordering dessert and the manager came and asked us to leave since our time was up. They sat us in a smelly plastic igloo and the sushi was below average. And to top it all the place is in a medical looking plaza with zero ambiance.
Ken offers the highest quality and artistry in San Diego. As someone who has tried sushi all over the world, including at Jiro in Tokyo, I can confidently say that there is no other place I would rather have dinner than at Ken. The quality of the fish he sources from his suppliers, and his understanding of flavors is unparalleled. The attention to detail and visual presentation is truly remarkable. The sake menu is top-notch and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Whether you are a sushi novice or an expert, this is the place to be. Keep an open mind and prepare to be amazed.
This sushi restaurant is not just the top spot in San Diego, but also in all of California, and possibly even the entire USA.
My friends suggested this restaurant to me. The sushi quality is decent, but not excellent. We had to wait 15 minutes and remind the staff to bring us a cup of tea. They were not busy at all. One of the items we ordered was forgotten completely. The prices are quite high. The food tasted good, but it falls short of being five-star quality.
My sister has mentioned several times to visit the ken sushi workshop for dinner. they and peanut enjoy this restaurant for special sushi dinner nights with their men. this inconceivable restaurant is located in a business park with california bank trust. one of the chefs worked for the notorious sushi ota and decided to open its own restaurant here in north county. the prices are at the top of the sushi ota (i.e. it is expensive here in the ken sushi workshop).
I’m from the country parts of Illinois and I’m certainly not a cultured individual but this sushi restaurant is absolutely on point. Ken does a fantastic job and the environment created by the customer service and waitresses and waiters make this place a stunning location. Highly recommended!
