eating was so incredibly satisfying and the staff is so good and attentive. imiserhof is a place where I passed a thousand times, but I'll be damned if that wasn't from the stellar dinner I've had for a long time. I'll be back soon and often. View all feedback.
Excellent customer service! I came here after work to decompress a little and this was just what I needed. I recommend going to the beer garden section, it’s so cute. Being here during golden hour was the cherry on top. I ordered the currywurst, a small pretzel and a beer. Definitely filled me up and they were all delicious! I will definitely be coming back!
Everything I had was very good. They have a wide variety of German dishes and prices. I had a pretzel, a beer, cup of lentil soup, potato salad and a bratwurst with $5 tip was less than what their duck dinner cost of $33. Which I plan on trying the next time I go there.
I recommend this place. Yes it might not be as good as having a meal in Germany but this place sure makes you feel like you are there. It has the style, the beer , the schnitzel, strudel, mustard and of course the pretzels.. all that makes this place worth to visit! We payed around $90 for 2 beers Pork shank came with cucumber salad and German pancake Schnitzel came with green salad and German potato small pretzel with beer cheese and mustard. Place 5/5 Service 5/5 Price 4/5
Quaint atmosphere, excellent service and well prepared food. The beef goulash was tender with a tomato and onion based sauce. The sauerbraten was fork tender with a hint of ginger. Highly recommend the house made apple strudel. It's light and flaky and not overly sweet. The menu is definitely meat-heavy but you can order additional side dishes to help balance out the meal. There is also a cozy bar and patio dining.
Loved this place. From the quaint atmosphere to the german speaking waiter. The restaurant has more of a pub feel to it though, a place where you can gather as friends and enjoy an evening of good company. They had a specials menu they gave us in addition to the regular menu. We had a small table by the fireplace and order a pretzel which came with a delightful mustard and some beer cheese. I ordered some chicken gruyere and some tomato bisque soup. Both excellent. My chicken was super tender and the flavors delightful. My wife ordered the beef goulash with a salad and a side of cabbage. Also both excellent flavor and tender. The presentation on the plates could be improved (check pics). We enjoyed the place and got a dessert to go. They only had two choices neither if which seemed very german. We ended up with a layered chocolate cake with cherries. Tasted like a cake mix with whipped cream and canned cherries added. It was not good. I would rate the dessert 1 star. This was a spoiler for us since it appeared they took care with their other menu items. We would come back again if in the area.
