I went to this restaurant for lunch and I was impressed by the freshness of the fish. The chirashi bowls were a great value for the amount and variety of fish they offered. The special tokusen chirashi bowl was particularly delicious. We also tried the rock fish from their "secret" menu and it was amazing. The service was excellent, very attentive, and the staff in the sushi kitchen were friendly. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Himitsu:
the food itself was very creatiw and tasty, except the roll that was very average. the wait staff helpful and timely. the big but here is the price $200! for two people who don't eat much and the loud rough 80s music that made the conversation hard. will not be back. View all feedback.
Someone on a celiac side recommended himitsu in la jolla for sushi. oh, my god. I have just eaten there at lunchtime and never better sushi in my life!
Perfect date night spot. I propose to get a reservation because this place was quickly packed pros: small cozy restaurant that gave an intimate.
We have made extensive investigations about the best Sushi/Anomkase spot in san diego and that was one of the recommended spots we could put ourselves in sushi.
We visited on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. it is a beautiful place with many sushi options. the sushi is super good! we enjoyed everything we ordered. the environment is also relaxing and it is a good place to catch with friends.
The whole food was really good, but in portions was quite small. not shown was a sharp scallop handroll and a double california roll. unfortunately we arrived late there and the kitchen was closed after the order, so could not add anymore.
