Giuseppes name makes our families smile to think back on our high-time day. we have set him and his team for our high-time dinner, our wedding bar service and finally added to a grilled rehearsal. all three were fantastic. he and his associates were incredibly professional and friendly not only during the menu planning/tasting process, but in any correspondence that until the high time and during the high time itself. Even the young server wished us cordially congratulations as they rushed between the kitchen and the dining room to ensure that every detail was perfect. his chef chef, chef chef rashi, greeted me when I swallowed with a smile and a congratulation in scripps. he reminded us of our second tasting that he hit from the park! all this plus wonderful service for our dinner and eating was great. the people just call and write to us to tell us how good that was eating. giuseppe and his team worked closely with us to ensure that the menu was exactly what we wanted, including some changes and adapt to our escape and help us sort our dessert selection. for our rehearsal we had their well-maintained box dinner that are honest enough to eat for two people and that was also absolutely delicious. I couldn't stop eating and they were delivered on time in these comfortable, temperature control bags. I can sincerely go to candor and ask him to revise our high-time dinner so I can eat it again. many thanks to giuseppe, chef rashi, and their entire staff for making our high time so unforgettable and special.

After 2 postponements due to covid (read 3 different wedding dates), we finally got married 4/16/22! We got married at Scripps Seaside Forum so we were only able to use Bar Giuseppe for our alcohol needs. We did the basic catering and ended up providing the alcohol which we bought from Costco and we thought it was more cost efficient! Still kind of crazy that we had to pay $2500 for glassware, the bar itself, and the bartenders but unfortunately we were locked into this company given our venue. Regardless, the staff at Giuseppe was easy to work with, communicative, and professional. While we thought they charged alot for what services they offered, we did not have any issues with them leading up to the wedding or the wedding day itself so thanks for providing great drinks to our guests and us!

We hired him and his team for our wedding dinner, our wedding bar service, and eventually added on a catered rehearsal dinner. All three were fantastic. Even the young servers kindly wished us congratulations as they rushed between the kitchen and dining room making sure every detail was perfect. His executive chef, Chef Rashi, greeted me as I snuck into Scripps with a smile and a congratulations. He remembered us from our second tasting, which he knocked out of the park! All of this plus wonderful service for our plated dinner AND the food was PHENOMENAL. People call and text us just to tell us how good the food was. Giuseppe and his team worked closely with us to make sure the menu was exactly what we wanted, including making some changes and customizations to our entrees and helping us sort out our dessert selection. For our rehearsal dinner we had their catered boxed dinners, which are honestly enough food for two people and this was also absolutely delicious. I couldn't stop eating. And they came delivered right on time in these convenient, temperature control bags. I honestly may drive to Candor soon and ask him to recreate our wedding dinner just so I can eat it again. One of the must haves at our wedding was a family style dinner, and Giuseppe and his team delivered with so much more than we could have ever imagined! The food was incredible, everything tasted amazing, and our dinner ended up being one of the biggest highlights of the day for me! The wait staff was wonderful, every table got their food at the same time, and the whole dinner service went off without a hitch! Thank you Giuseppe and team for the most incredible dinner for our wedding!

I wish I didn't feel this way because I worked with Giuseppe before and they were great. I worked with Rachel when she was there and she helped with my baby shower during Covid. She was great and professional. I wanted to give them business as a repeat customer so I hired them for my upcoming birthday party. Rachel is no longer there unfortunately and I worked with Sarah. She was not very easy to get in touch with and I had to keep initiating contact. We were planning the menu for weeks and I thought we were set for the event. I reached out again and Sarah told me they had to cancel on me because they overcommitted. She never mentioned this prior- otherwise I would not have continued with them. It is highly unprofessional for a well known catering company to operate in this way. I have already found another vendor for my event but wanted to warn others. They have lost my business as a repeat customer as well as my friends and colleagues.
