Giovanni's Trattoria - San Diego

The pizza was okay. The crust was thin and surprisingly not crisp and had not much taste. The sauce was okay. Cheese wasn't the best, but it wasn't terrible. Toppings were economical, but fresh. It took 35 minutes to get a 10-inch thin crust pizza. The cashier never made eye contact and was a little grouchy. Tables were dirty. It was not bad, but given the proximity to Little Italy there is no reason to go out of the way.

I wanted to buy some slices of pizza and I saw a fly on the exposed pizza. While waiting for my order, the workers packed several time slices of pizza, but never got the fly out. I don't know if they didn't notice it or not. I decided to leave this place. Online prices are cheaper than in sales prices. Why?

Went in to get a quick bite to eat before hopping on the Amtrak. They have several daily specials. I got a plain cheese slice and 4 chicken wings $9 . Took about 20min cause the wings were made to order ? It was good, glad I tried it.

I am very impressed with this pizza. I came in just walking by as I sight see. Im a out of town guess from Las Vegas. I loved the pizza so much the the next day before going home I stopped by again! The blue trolley opens right in front of the pizza place and then once done you can take the bus (literally 10 steps around the corner) straight to airport! Easy easy easy!!!!
