It’s hard to leave paradise- and we just didn’t get enough poke while on Kauai… so we stopped in to grab some poke bowls to go. Super nice people and excellent food! The spicy poke was surprisingly lacking in flavor. The only addition that provided any heat was the jalapeño, and I've never encountered poke with bell pepper before. Even when I tried to enhance it with furikake, it still felt quite bland. This recipe definitely needs to be improved, as it doesn't do justice to authentic poke from Hawaii.
