Butcher Shop Steakhouse San Diego

We enjoy dining at the Butcher Shop for different events. The environment is nice, the food and drinks are delicious. The service is very good. The staff makes you feel welcomed.

While I love the Butcher Shop for steaks I was taken aback by their new sexist female uniforms and the scantily clad waitresses non-stop flirting with my 20 year old son. It’s not the 70’s and this isn’t a Playboy Club, I won’t go back due to the sexist and revealing uniforms.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at the Butcher Shop Steakhouse. We weee both very happy with the prime rib and medallions were done perfectly and were very delicious! Ashley, our server, was very friendly, made some great recommendations and was attentive as well. We will definitely go back again!

Such a huge disappointment- complete rip off. New owners more concerned about flirting with young waitresses wearing hooters red skirts up to their hu ha’s, versus greeting acknowledging their customers. Been going here for years, taking friends family. Was formerly such a fun experience, great value with sunset prime rib that was reasonably priced. Now starts at $50, 60 75. I ordered $75 garlic toast was retoasted dry as a brick. French onion soup had a piece of bread floating on top with barely any cheese. Prime rib decent. Check was $108 with tip for 1 person with dessert no beverage or wine. Insane I will never go back. Not even a high end restaurant prices are exorbitant! Ridiculous.
