They adjusted their happy hour schedule, which was disappointing, but we decided to order food and drinks anyway. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful. However, the service was just mediocre. View all feedback.
What amos m doesn't like about Amplified Ale Works- Pacific Beach:
No human help in ordering. Very frustrating as special requests were difficult or impossible to communicate. The order didn’t get entered correctly as we are not employed at the restaurant and didn’t do it right. One persons food didn’t make it on the order. Casual setting with good eating and great beer selection. very nice and attentive staff.
If you are in a large group and have an accent you will have a great time, but if you are a party of two you may get overlooked. At least that was my experience and the person who actually took care of us doesn't get the tip so we were very disappointed with the service and how long it took to get drinks ordered and the check. We probably spent 30-60 minutes extra just waiting on the server.
Delicious healthy options. Great beer and music. Server Chris was great!!
Besides the kids screaming at the top of their lungs behind our party, place is great! Don't know if they may have adjusted some items on the menu but the food just didn't taste the same as before we came here (pre-pandemic). Parmesan Zucchini was delicious as always though. Great for large parties. Definitely a beer and appetizer place even for lunch for the ocean view.
Listed as Beachside Nope. This looks at the back of a creepy hotel, a parking lot and a trailer house. If you lean over the edge, you can see the beach. Food was very cheap, but was so overcooked the beef was like chewing on shoe leather and the chicken was extremely dry and overcooked. I'm sorry, Amplified, you were a disappointment.
