I couldn't wait to try gourmet pizza at the pizzeria the curbs of Simone Padoan, since he invented the gourmet pizza years ago and I really like the gourmet pizza I got spent in other restaurants. I tried many sourdough pizzas and here it was my favorite. first we ordered one for each and then share another. it was an amazing experience. will come back, worth a trip from Slovenia!
We had lunch with friends and colleagues. cold and rude welcome as the whole service. the pizza itself (or rather focaccia) is original, but it is always the same form, substance and with a heavy and wrong mix of ingredients. In the...end, all very expensive, for a tasty and boring experience.
Simone truly is one of the greatest pizzaiolos in the world. Being all around the world testing many different styles of pizzas I must admit that this was my favorite I have ever tried. It’s so hard to say which one deserves the gold medal...but if I had to take one on a desert island I would choose crispy burrata with San Marzano tomatoes. Dessert are a must. When you’re on the way out don’t forget to buy panettone it’s a must as well!!!
