The restaurant closed early despite having a reservation for Christmas dinner. We have tried calling to complain but have not received a response.
I am giving this review to a Yemeni restaurant and Opentable together. I made a reservation for 2 people at 7:30 PM and received confirmation from Opentable. However, when we arrived at the restaurant promptly at 7:30, it was already closed.
This restaurant serves authentic Yemeni cuisine, indicated by the large number of Yemeni patrons dining here. It is considered one of the top ethnic food restaurants in San Francisco, and I highly recommend it.
This is not a fine dining restaurant, however they do have authentic Yemeni food. Not a place to go on a date or a business meal, great place to grab affordable dinner or lunch. If haven't tried Yemeni food, this place is a must try.
Friendly, helpful server, delicious food, ample portions and reasonable prices! Plus it’s walking distance from civic center and theaters
