The food is excellent. It's a cozy, indulgent, and laid-back spot. This is the ideal breakfast place to treat yourself and your guests. The atmosphere is vibrant, and the menu has something to satisfy everyone...
I visited this restaurant on a Sunday at noon with a group of seven. There was a line that wrapped around the door, but we only waited about 25 minutes to be seated. We were placed outside, but the heaters kept us warm, so it wasn't cold at all.
We had breakfast at Sweet Maple while visiting San Francisco. Since we arrived early, we were able to walk right in and get a table for four. Our server, June, was fantastic—she did an excellent job highlighting some of the menu’s best items. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious. I ordered the regular breakfast with eggs, mixed potatoes, and curry chicken sausage, while my wife chose the banana and walnut pancakes with mango chicken sausage. Overall, the breakfast was very good, and I preferred the mango chicken sausage over the curry. The pancakes and potatoes were also tasty. The dining area features a couple of big-screen TVs, so we enjoyed watching a tennis match during our meal. The only downside was one young woman who cleared our plates after we finished—she was rude, unfriendly, and even rolled her eyes at us. Aside from that, the experience was great. I definitely recommend giving Sweet Maple a try if you’re in San Francisco.
My friends and I were searching for a brunch place in the city and heard that this spot was one of the most popular options. We decided to give it a try...
Fantastic spot for breakfast. Make sure to try their chicken mango sausages—they’re incredible! I also enjoyed the orange juice and pancakes. The service was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and roomy, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Definitely planning to return!
