Contribute FeedbackSTEM is conveniently located near the Chase Center, making it a great spot for pre-show dining. The decor is decent, and the menu offers a variety of dishes, though some found the prices to be a bit high for the service received. The food was generally fresh, but some felt it lacked inspiration. Despite some service issues, other patrons praised the healthy and delicious meals, as well as the top-quality service they received. The restaurant's commitment to using fresh, local ingredients was praised, and many enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and hand-crafted cocktails. Overall, STEM is a consistent and tasty option with a great outdoor area and good value for San Francisco. It seems like a go-to place for many looking for a casual and enjoyable dining experience.
We had a nice dinner. they did not sit near other people, so we felt very comfortable. eating was great and service wonderful.
The second time we ate there. eating is very healthy and delicious. also our server was top quality. we would highly recommend it. and if they go to a meeting in the chase center, they can not beat the 5 minutes to foot after eating.
Great ambiente and appetizers are good, but the entrees lack taste.
The restaurant was very accommodating of our constantly changing reservation, due to scheduling issues from the medical center. They seated us at a nice table and the food came out quickly. Each dish was delicious. My husband said the halibut was cooked perfectly. The brussels sprouts had just the right amount of spice to it. The burrata was fine--I'm not sure I wouldn't have been happier with a different thing under the cheese, but it was fine. There was a large party near us and it was too noisy for us to hear each other comfortably.
STEM is one of our go-to places. It's open, friendly, and beautiful. We love the farm to table concept. Food is delicious and they always have some fun outside-the-box menu items as well as things that everyone will love.
