We visited in a quiet time of the day and the week, as this fits our walk around mission district. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was good and we got great service. We were on holiday so to know that we did not decide again in a while to get a flight, we made ourselves with quite all the breweries own beer. What an amazing range they have! We liked everything and found some surprises. The Berliner Weis was a real surpr... View all feedback.
What Paul Mandel doesn't like about Southern Pacific Brewing:
Good vibe and beers, but won’t give you a taste of the beer before you buy it. They do offer half-pints, but this is the only bar I’ve ever been to that won’t let you try a beer on tap before you buy it. View all feedback.
$12 for guac and chips... meh so I took off 1 star but this place has a full bar even tho it'd a brewery
Great place for a beer and some decent bar food. Lively industrial vibe, very welcoming. Outside and mezzanine seating

Tried to go here with a large group, including parents with a baby in a stroller. We were denied entry because of the baby. We asked the manager for recs on a bar or biergarten we could go to that might be more welcoming to parents with infants. He said we wouldn’t be able to find a place like that and added, “This is what happens when you have kids.” Couldn’t believe my ears. Will never go back.
I’ve been to Southern Pacific many times and even held my engagement party there. Unfortunately yesterday I was illegally denied entry when I arrived with my service dog (who has been there many times before). The bartender was so incredibly rude and aggressive, and I walked out without arguing with him because I was too upset. However, a friend of mine attempted to stand up for me and explained to him that my dog is a service dog for a disability and is legally required to be allowed in their space. He said “I know what a service dog looks like and that’s not one.” Besides the fact that he is wrong and ignorant, it’s completely illegal. The only legal way to deny entry to a service dog is if the dog is poorly behaved (i.e. barking, biting). My dog was in my arms the entire time not making any noise or even moving, because of her training. He later threw a menu at my friend and verbally abused her. He lost the business of a group of 10 of us that night and we will never be going back. This aggressive bartender was tall, bald, and heavyset.Wheelchair accessibility: NOT disability friendly. Do not even try.
