The waitress w... read more There is an extensive menu and the pho dish I ordered had no flavor, and on top of that they had AC at full blast so my soup was cold in seconds. The waitress was great but other than that no bueno!!

Their vegan food is hearty and comforting but while dining inside I was sadly disappointed by their excessive use of disposable utensils and plastic, paper containers. I understand it's for COVID purposes but I think it's time to bring back that enhanced dine in experience without so much disposal waste. We'll definitely be back though.

My family came to LA to... read more I?m obsessed with their coconut cream cake. I discovered Sipz 7 months ago while visiting SD. I went back every day after for more cake. My family came to LA to see Chris Rock perform and planned to spend a week in CA. I insisted that we spend the restof the time SD because of Sipz (and I love this area). We ordered a whole coconut cream cake for my mom?s birthday and mybrother has already warned me that I?m only entitled to the half of the cake I paid for. The texture, the taste, the moistnessof the fresh cake is everything. I?ll be taking some cake back on the plane and exercising my willpower to save at least oneslice in the freezer to eat on my birthday in 3.5 weeks.

They were clearly understaffed and he was clearly struggling but still did a great job. We ordered some sushi rolls but they weremediocre. One set was too spicy, the other one just plain. We will perhaps give this place another chance in the future but asof now there are certainly better vegan places in San Diego.
