Schroeder's - San Andreas
Schroeder's
Description
The restaurant offers a wide selection of food and drinks, with tap beer receiving positive feedback. However, some dishes like the fried chicken sandwich and Jaeger Schnitzel left customers underwhelmed with bland flavors and unusual spices. The noise level in the restaurant was a concern for some, making it difficult to converse with dining companions. Despite mixed reviews, the service was highlighted as excellent in several instances, catering well to different party sizes and accommodating special occasions. The decor and history of the place added to the overall experience, with generous food portions and delicious flavors standing out for some diners. The venue seems to cater more to a younger, louder bar crowd rather than couples seeking a quiet night out. Overall, the restaurant offers decent food with some standout dishes but areas for improvement in terms of ambiance and flavors in certain menu items.

Traditional surroundings with a nice beer selection and tv screens playing football. Went to feast on a Doner Kabob. I did a search on Google to find a place that makes this special Berliner street food meal. Schroeder's offers one! I know the breadis particular and hard to come by so the pita bread they used was okay! Usually it's toasted with sesame on the outside. Thegarlic yogurt sauce was yummy! Suggestion: Shred the lettuce/cabbage! Dice the tomatoes! Stuff it to the gills! Picture ofBerliner version for reference!
Strongly recommend! Their sausage is so good. The meat is very high quality and tastes fresh. My favorite is chicken sausage tastes very lean. I feel good after the meal. I in particularly love their homemade picked vegetables lightly sour and socrisp!
I really enjoyed this restaurant. They have a decent selection and it tastes good. The service was very nice and the environment is okay. The thing is, it is extremely loud and the prices are a bit high (that's why I'm rating 4 stars). Other than that, thisplace was nice
Beer is obviously great, food is solid as well! And great atmosphere in the beer hall.
I recently had the most fantastic German food at this restaurant. I spent 4 years stationed in Germany, so I have high standards when it comes to German cuisine. The Pork Shank was cooked perfectly, and the sauerkraut, red cabbage, and mashed potatoes elevated the meal to legendary status. The meal was complemented by some amazing Hefeweizen beer. The service was also exceptional, fast and friendly. I even received a complimentary beer due to a misorder. This will definitely be a must-stop for me whenever I'm in this city.
