Saska's - San Andreas
Saska's
Description
A recent visit to the restaurant for a birthday celebration left diners disappointed due to slow service and disorganization during the seating process. While some dishes like the French onion soup were outstanding, the Elk special was dry and the fettuccine Alfredo was sticky and too salty. Despite this, the atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant was praised by many, with the recent renovations receiving positive feedback. Overall, Saska's was described as an old-school steakhouse with a good menu and great cocktails. The prime rib special and filet were highlighted as delicious options, while the revamped bar and improved dining experience were commended. While some felt that the food was good but not amazing, others found the portions to be generous, especially for a steakhouse. The restaurant's happy hour offerings were also popular, with $4 draft beers and a variety of appetizers drawing in customers. In conclusion, Saska's was recommended for its quality food, great service, and appealing atmosphere, making it a restaurant worth returning to in San Diego.

I absolutely loved this place! Everything lived up to my expectations - the food was delicious, indulgent, and truly deserving of all the praise it receives. It's no wonder they have remained successful over the years.
The steak at this restaurant is fantastic, and the sides are delicious as well. The cocktails are also very good. I always have a great time here and appreciate the classic atmosphere.
My husband and I were in San Diego for the weekend and were looking for a local spot to have a celebratory meal. Found Saska’s and am so glad we did! His filet was cooked perfectly and my meal was just as good. Portions were big especially from a steakhouse where typically you need to order more sides to get full. The service was great as well. Our cups were never empty!
The service we received from our waiter was fantastic! The food was tasty, but a bit overpriced for the quality. I would consider returning to this restaurant.
While visiting San Diego on our last evening in town, we decided to indulge in some delicious seafood. This restaurant is the perfect spot for that! We tried the mussels, calamari, lobster, and crab legs, and everything was absolutely fantastic. I would definitely rank this among my top choices for seafood dining. The prices were not the highest I've encountered, but they were also not the most budget-friendly. Overall, a great place to enjoy a meal!
