Sasaki - San Andreas
Sasaki
Description
The reviews for the restaurant suggest a mixed experience. While some customers enjoyed the quality of the sushi and the overall dining experience, others were disappointed by the rushed service and high prices. Some mentioned that the food was fresh and delicious, with standout dishes like the Spanish Mackerel and Fatty Tuna. However, there were concerns about the pacing of the meal, with some feeling that they were rushed through their courses. The ambiance and seating arrangements also received criticism, with some feeling that the restaurant did not live up to its high price point. Overall, the reviews suggest that while the food quality is good, the dining experience may not always meet the expectations set by the prices charged.

I'm so sorry to all the other omakase places that I've given 5 stars before, but I'll have to take one backSasaki was amazing--beyond belief.
Came here for their omakase and was not disappointed! The entire dining experience took about 3 hours, and it was so enjoyable from start to finish.
Just finished dinner tonight at Sasaki and was incredibly impressed I've followed Masa-san ever since meeting him at Saru Sushi years ago.
Situated on a peaceful street corner in the Mission neighborhood, Sasaki may not initially appear to be a top-tier sushi destination. However, upon entering, guests are welcomed by a cozy and elegant ambiance. The cuisine and hospitality were outstanding, and I would certainly come back for another dining experience.
