Sabrosa - San Andreas
Sabrosa
Description
Sabrosa had a turbulent start to the evening with reservation issues and lackluster flavors on the menu. Some diners experienced long wait times and disappointing dishes. However, others had a positive experience, particularly during happy hour, praising the nachos and cocktails. Despite mixed reviews, the restaurant seems to have a loyal following, especially for its lively atmosphere and attentive service. While some patrons were put off by the loud music, many still appreciated the delicious food and overall dining experience.

On New Year's Eve, the restaurant was closed even though it was listed as open on OpenTable. I made a reservation through OpenTable, which was confirmed, but when my party of six arrived at the restaurant, it was closed. This unexpected closure caused a lot of stress and inconvenience as we struggled to find another restaurant that was open and could accommodate us on such a special occasion.
Yesterday evening, Sabrosa held a private event which caused them to be unable to accommodate my 8pm dinner reservation. I attempted to cancel my reservation on OpenTable, but encountered difficulties as the app already marked me as dining at Sabrosa. Despite trying to contact the restaurant, I was unable to make any changes. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I found it frustrating that there were no other restaurants available for reservations at 8pm on a Friday.
The food we were able to order was delicious, but I was disappointed that many dishes I wanted to try from their website menu were no longer available. I was informed that they were from the previous season. If they operate as a seasonal restaurant, they should regularly update their online menu to reflect the changes in their seasonal offerings.
The restaurant was rather average. We observed a decrease in quality compared to our last visit.
