The menu online did not match the restaurant menu so my friends and I were thrown off. The waitress had no information about the whiskey or bourbon tasting and had to consult with the bartender. If you have the whiskey tasting online, waitress should know that information. They did not have the pork shoulder or ribs so we only ordered chicken wings and fried pickles, As we’re eating the chicken wings, I guess it was more important to cook the staffs meal so they can have a date while on the clock. I think the restaurant manager wearing a grey long sleeve and the waitress had their food cooked first cause then after our pickles came maybe about 10 to 15 mins after the chicken wings. The staff had their burgers and salad before us and had a cute little table set up and shut the grey curtain as if we couldn’t see thru it. Terrible service and food all around. Do not recommend.
The service was great, they only had 3 tables including ours in the restaurant and they forgot to put in our appetizers. I'm not sure if they didn't have the items. or simply forgot. Because we got our entrees first. one of my team members ordered the tri-tip sandwich they didn't have the right break as listed on their menu. my Santa Maria tri-tip was cold.
I made the reservation. I got a text the day before asking me to confirm, which I did. We showed up on time and the place wasn’t even open and the phone number was disconnected
We started with 2 small plates to share. Crab cakes were good, a bit small, the mango salsa really tied it together. Smoked wings were the best. He got the pulled pork, it was dry and a bit too fatty. Seems it was put on the flat top to reheat but became dry and crunchy. The mashed potatoes were almost cold, the greens good. We loved the gold sauce. I ordered the Santa Maria tri tip, it was overcooked and lacked seasoning. It needed the corn succotash and Pico de Gallo to bring much needed moisture and flavor to the meat. The Pinto beans were odd tasting, not quite sure what was used to season them. Maybe we will try them again once they 've gotten used to the new menu. The cocktail could 've used more jalapeño to counteract the sweetness
Great service. Nicest waitress we have ever had. Beans could use a lil work but other than that the food was insanely good and the portions were huge.
