Pueblo - San Andreas
Pueblo
Description
The restaurant offers a variety of options, including vegan choices. While some diners found the food to be average or overpriced, others praised the mussels, shrimp tacos, and margaritas. The service was generally friendly, with some exceptions, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The vegan shrimp tacos received mixed reviews, but the complimentary chips and salsa were a hit. Overall, diners recommended trying the guacamole, spicy margarita, and lobster dishes.

Great drinks and some pretty dam good Mexican food too. The Chile relleno was fantastic and the oysters were a great choice. I will definitely be going back in the future.
A+ dining experience. Very low key quiet atmosphere for PB. Prices are not as much as you would expect for so close to the water. There is very limited parking, but that is expected for this area. It was pretty empty for a week day night in November.
First time visit. In all honesty we are local to PB and wouldn’t go to this place because it look over the beloved China Inn which if you’re local, was a heartbreak for all. Man, I’m glad we tried this place! The ambience is awesome and the servicewas great. Food presentation was fantastic and only outweighed by the taste (we had the chicken salad which came in this cooloblong taco shell, carne asada tacos and mushroom tacos. We had a little meeting in the corner at an outside table and willdefinitely repeat!
Really enjoyed our dinner here when we were in town. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The margaritas are great as is the selection and quality of menu options. Service was attentive and very pleasurable. We will definitely be coming back next timewe are in town.
Our server was nice, I liked him. I tried the new item on the menu, the vegan shrimp tacos, which I was nervous about because that’s quite the stretch. But I am vegan now for 6 years and I’ve tried a lot of things. This wasn’t executedsuccessfully, in my opinion. The breading needs to be thicker and there needs to be less chewiness. I also recommend changingthe vegan cheese brand because that wasn’t a hit either. The black beans were standard, a bit bland. I do appreciate thecomplimentary chips and salsa which were delicious. Also my spicy tequila pineapple drink was great. Still giving 4 starsbecause this is just my constructive criticism and I am always thankful for restaurants who offer vegan options. Next time Iwould try the chorizo and tofu tacos!
