The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The quality of the food is excellent, and their wine list is impressive, featuring a diverse range of price points. Two of my pe... read more We've been dining at this restaurant for years and often bring our out-of-town guests here. Chef Hirigoyen consistently prepares incredible dishes. Two of my personal favorites are the seafood stew and the Basque-style risotto. The ambiance inside is wonderful. After your meal, I highly recommend taking a stroll up the Filbert steps for breathtaking views.

Stephanie, the event planner, and Chef Gerald were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their extensive experience in organizing private dinners was evident, and they offered more flexibility in menu options than I found at many other venues. The room (Lauburu), the food, the wine, the service, and the overall experience were all outstanding. Many of my friends were excited to learn that we had chosen Piperade for our event, and everyone had a fantastic time. I highly recommend it!

The ambiance was incredibly elegant, and the bartenders provided exceptional service and expertly crafted drinks. The atmosphere was both cozy and sophisticated. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, starting with the grilled calamari and stuffed peppers, before moving on to the duck leg confit. My fiancé ordered the lamb chops, which were absolutely exquisite. If you appreciate attentive service and a classy setting, Piperade is the top restaurant to visit in San Francisco.
