Contribute FeedbackOverall, Paragon received positive reviews for its food and service. Customers praised the excellent chimichurri chicken, Chicken Cobb Salad, Steelhead Salmon, and salt and pepper shrimp. However, there were some mixed reviews on the buttermilk fried chicken and porkchop dishes. The atmosphere was noted to be crowded and noisy, but still enjoyable for pre-game dining. Prices were considered reasonable, with some patrons finding the portion sizes to be slightly smaller than expected. Guests were impressed with the upscale decor, full bar area, and attentive staff. Many mentioned returning for the good food and convenient location before Giants games. Some diners hoped for more lunch selections on the dinner menu and a wider variety of entrees. Overall, Paragon was recommended for its quality food, efficient service, and pleasant dining experience.
I felt it was a little pricey for what we got. I ordered the fried chicken which was very good, but I was served one small breast and 2 legs. For that price I should have the opposite. Greens were good and I'm not a huge greens guy. I'd like to try Paragon for lunch sometime.
Paragon is a perfect restaurant for before or after the baseball game. Easy to walk to from AT&T Park. The indoor/outdoor seating is a big plus. Terrific bar and the bartenders are really nice. Friendly and conscientious wait staff. The food is always very good with interesting menu selections...comfort food at its best! Though they have appetizing entrees, on this particular trip, we decided to go with a selection of appetizers. All were delicious...pork sliders, chicken wings, coleslaw, and burrata with stone fruit and crostini. We only received one crostini and asked for a few more. We topped off our meal with a selection of sorbet. Workable wine list as well. Would definitely recommend Paragon.
We were happy to see the buttermilk fried chicken on the menu. we were there two years before it was fabulous, but last year, when we came to san francisco, it was from the menu, but when we tried this year, it was like a completely different recipe. the 25 dollars are not worth and the porkchop, which is usually fabulous, was very overcooked and hard. very disappointed because this is a great location near south beach harbor.
What a great place to have dinner before a giant game! the food was excellent (steak : and the staff was very fast friendly. reservation a must be playing and we sat right away when we arrived. a little around!
Once again the people in paragon offered a wonderful experience. the food is good, the service was excellent, we have in and out time to make the game. this is my favorite go to dinner before the ball game.
