Even though I was not 100% satisfied, nor were my companions, I will still go back there. Though we ordered drinks before the food, the food came before the drinks. Salt free food arrived salty. Noise was almost insufferable at times. I still love the general atmosphere and convenient location near where my chorus practices and performs. Menu is varied and drinks are creative. What Steve doesn't like about Palmers Tavern:
A friendly, neighborhood kind of place that feels like an old club (tufted leather sofas, etc. . Generally OK, but drawbacks are the very high noise level at dinner, and food that is OK, but not excellent. View all feedback.
The food and drinks are delicious. The restaurant is a lovely place to dine with a fantastic variety of beverages to choose from.
Always a great standby when you you just want something reliable. Very good comfort food. Excellent cocktails. The only reason I marked quiet is because we sat outside. Otherwise this place is loud when hopping. Food was a little rushed...but nothing crazy. Will go back again and again

Great happy hour from 4-6 with a wide variety of food and drink options on their regular menu. The staff was friendly and attentive.
One mistake with the food order but otherwise the server was nice and attentive. Food was solid. However, we were seated next to a group of ten and the noise level was borderline unbearable. This is a bar/pub atmosphere so noise is to be expected, but we could barely hear each other. So bring your boisterous group but leave your hard of hearing granny at home.
