Feedback
Nightbird in San Francisco is being added to the list of overpriced and lacking food experiences in the city, with caviar, wagyu, and truffle failing to compensate for uninspiring flavor profiles and unoriginal dishes. While the ambiance and service are top-notch, the food falls short in comparison to other metropolitan areas. On the other hand, it's a great spot for special occasions in small groups, with impeccable service, delicious food, and perfect wine pairings. The menu is divine, and the staff is knowledgeable and kind. The experience is further elevated by the care and attention put into the entire dining experience, making it one not to be missed. The restaurant offers outstanding food, presentation, service, and ambience, with Chef Kim Alter and her team delivering a next-level fine dining experience. The overall consensus is that while Nightbird may have its shortcomings in terms of food quality and creativity, the overall experience is enhanced by the attention to detail, service, and ambiance.
Great restaurantIt seems like it's probably on the brink of Michelin but who knows what they really are looking for anyway 2-Min quail egg.
3 stars for OK food, dinging 1 for aloof serviceI'm genuinely really surprised by all the glowing reviews? Uhh where to begin.
While weighing my celebratory-dining options, I first thought of some of the most obvious Michelin-star restaurants in the city to celebrate my birthday.
13 courses. 2 were amazing! 10 were average an 1 was terrible
Definitely Michelin recommended and deserves a Michelin Star..
