The desserts are decadent and delightful. Overall, Nora is highly recommended for its outstanding food, great service, and wonderful ambiance.
The restaurant has a casual yet elegant atmosphere. We decided to try the surprise 5-course tasting menu and were impressed with the flavor, balance, and top quality of each dish. The menu allowed us to try items we wouldn't have normally ordered. The wine pairings were perfect as well. The service was excellent and the restroom had a pleasant scent of soap.
The food at this restaurant was wonderful and the atmosphere is pleasant and lively. The menu includes wine pairings that are delicious. The menu changes daily and the chef can accommodate vegans if they call ahead. The restaurant was very busy, so I sat at the bar and opted for a vegetarian meal. I had soup, salad, a couple of appetizers, and two glasses of wine that were paired well. The bill came to $90 after tip.
This elegant restaurant is hidden in Lower Pacific Heights. We were given charming personalized menus for our anniversary, which was a nice touch. The pate and squid appetizers were good, though slightly lacking in flavor. My cod was cooked perfectly, but my fiance's medium rare pork stole the spotlight. It was perfectly pink with delicious sides. Both desserts we ordered were also exceptional. While there is no liquor served, the wine and dessert wine menu is excellent.
Wonderful food, tasting menu quality without the prices. We tried the Sardines, leeks, pork, lamb and Halibut. All cooked to perfection with light sauces Creative menu without being too sophisticated
Great quality food creative and tasty twist and for a great price. Nice wine list including couple champagne options. Service super attentive and friendly. Will be back!
