Michelin Star Moroccan Cuisine- I think that says it all. A modern interpretation of a cuisine deeply rooted in the past. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in San Francisco ?

This was an easy location to get to and the duck parcel milk bread was amazing. I was under the impression that the chicken would come in a tagine and also come in more of a stew and the cous cous was very basic. The martini also was not cold enough. Overall ok.

Mourad is so, so good. Just incredibly delicious, inventive, exquisite Moroccan food in a beautiful setting.I only have this one photo from my last meal there because I was too obsessed with eating to take photos. My fave fancy date night place in San Francisco by a mile.

Amazing place! We went here to celebrate birthday and it was the right choice. Service is very attentive and unobtrusive. We tried two duck appetizers, branzino and squab. Squab is beyond any expectations- definitely try it. Duck appetizer are deliciousand interesting in tastes. Branzino was very well cooked, but nothing standing out. This is one of the best restaurant in SanFrancisco, you’re missing out of not trying.

Wonderful restaurant, fantastic food, great experience! Michelin Star well deserved! It was busy and the vibe was casual. Octopus By far the best dish and the best octopus we have had anywhere else. It was a brilliant combination of beefmarrow with all the dressings that went really well with the octopus. Basteeya Great presentation, excellent balance of spiceand seasoning Beef Cheek Super tender and delicious, full of flavour Lamb Very nicely cooked, soft, slightly crispy on theoutside and really good combination of sauce and dressings We had a glass of rose and a glass of pinot noir to go with ourdinner. Too bad we did not have room for dessert. The only thing was the wait between starters and entrée, it took a littlewhile which kind of broke the flow of the experience. I definitely recommend Mourad for anyone who is in San Francisco andlooking for an excellent culinary experience.
