Take me back! The selection of oysters and seafood was on point! I mean it has to be with the word Oyster in their name. The decor here reminded me as if we were in South Beach, Miami very floral with pink hues. What Hungry S doesn't like about Leo's Oyster Bar:
It's a mixed bag. The main dining area is deafening, the back feels abandoned. Service is slow at peak times. Some of the food it tasty, including the oysters and some of the simpler appetizers. But most is over complicated and over worked and needs diversity beyond the seafood-smothered-in-mayonaisse/butter/cheese theme. Cocktails were good, although the cocktail menu is pretty limited. OMG one of the very best meals I have ever had in San Francisco, we ate all the seafood, raw bar options were exquisite, and then ate some more, cocktail and wine selection was awesome, great service, atmosphere was so intimate and it felt like a real escape from the every day scene outside. stars across the board

Excellent. Not a very big place, but pleasantly decorated with a 'cozy' feel. Oysters were very fresh, with a very tasty mignonette. One of us had the warm lobster roll; the other the special which was linguini with crab and lobster in a buttercheese sauce. It was absolutely outstanding. Service was spot on. Also the manager came by and checked on us personally, a nice touch. A little pricey but not out of line for fine dining in San Francisco. We are definitely going back
