Lavash - San Andreas
Lavash
Description
Lavash is a Persian restaurant in San Francisco that offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. While the outdoor patio is charming, the lack of heaters can make it chilly. The food is generally tasty, with standout dishes like the lamb chop and mixed ground beef lamb skewers. The service is attentive and helpful, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a positive dining experience. Pricing is on the higher side, but the quality of the food and service justifies the cost. Overall, Lavash is a solid option for Persian cuisine in the area, offering a taste of home for those looking for familiar flavors.

The atmosphere is cool and the staff are really nice so is the service. We ordered chicken and koobideh kabob with salad; the chicken was great, koobideh is so so, but the appetizer plate isn’t as it used to be; missing walnut, grapes, and the lavash bread was very stale.
Service was really good. We loved the location and the vibe. We didn’t have a reservation so they sat us outside. They turned the heater on so it was lovely. The food was good but I had better kabobs ? also it’s a bit pricey but you’d expect that in this location.
I have come here for dinner before (I forgot to review), but this is a review about how delicious their pistacio ice cream is! We were seated on a weekday afternoon in their garden seat and just ordered their pistacio ice cream, which has about 3 scoops.Their outdoor garden seating was so cute, it would definitely be a good spot for wrapping up a date.
One of the best places in SF … It really tastes like home. I loved Zereshkpolo and Baghalipolo the most. For Dessert I would definitely recommend to try Makhloot. They also have a table surrounded by flowers which is called Lavash Garden, but you alwayshave to call and reserve for it.
