I ordered... read more Nice trendy restaurant near Little Italy area of San Diego. We sat outside and had a great waiter who has a lot of knowledge about the food and beer. I ordered the fried fish which is amazing! The fish is large, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is that the chicken my wife ordered was a little undercooked. However, the waiter offered to reheat the chicken but we declined and ended up taking it home. Afterwards, my wife helped me eat the fish, which by itself is a meal for two!

Fresh fish, to die for duck and the dessert OH MY!! Update: went back for our 5th wedding anniversary and was not disappointed. The staff was amazing, our water cup never emptied. The food was as amazing as I remembered. This time we tried the sourdough... I don't care what people say, better than bread from EU. They had a raspberry yodel for dessert... We almost licked the plate. Thank you!!

Similarly, Cassidy wa... read more Holy cow, what a great experience. First off, a big thank you to the Manager and hostess for squeezing us in late on the reservation list. Similarly, Cassidy was an excellent server and also deserves kudos. She was patient and never rushed usdespite the late dinner time. The dishes were each amazing, seriously amazing. Favorites included the deviled eggs, thescallops and the heirloom tomatoes dishes. For desert, the black fig and almond cake was delicious and not too sweet (butdefinitely recommend it as a last course instead of a starter). Would love to go back.

Came with a friend couple and we shared an array of the small plates. Everything was excellent fresh, seasonal, good sizes for the prices, delicious across the board. Interesting selection of tasty cocktails as well. Wonderful, informativeservice, too . I'm not local but I'll gladly be back.
