Contribute FeedbackLocated conveniently near the Museum of Modern Art, In Situ offers a creative and interesting menu, although some dishes arrived warm rather than hot, and portions were not very generous. A standout item was the prime rib, which was described as the best in town. The wine portions were generous, but the wine list was seen as dated. Some customers found the ambiance and decor to be very appealing, while others reported a disappointing experience overall. Servers at the restaurant received mixed reviews, with some praising the excellent service and others stating that their server was rude. Despite these mixed reviews, many customers enjoyed the diverse and delicious menu offerings at In Situ and would recommend it to others. The restaurant was particularly praised for its Korean BBQ pork and unique dishes from various global cuisines.
Perfectly situated at SFMOMA, In Situ dishes were varietal in global cuisine and deliciously fantastic! Excellent tapioca cheese fritters, chive and basil pancake, potato and roe, lettuce cup salad, and sea bream—a must! Also loved the decor and super comfortable couches! Great experience!
Eating was an amazing representation of art. it was also so delicious.
Eating was just not so good. several dishes too salty. I had high expectations and think that the concept is great, but they did not run in a city with so many large restaurants.
Great lunch. unexpected. rugged ambiente. each plate was artistic and tasty. a visit is a must. conveniently located next to the museum.
The carrot soup was exceptional, earning 10 stars. The fish was decent, receiving one star. The dessert was delicious, scoring 5 stars.
