While some diners were unimpressed with the outdated menu and lackluster food quality, others appreciated the friendly service and cozy atmosphere. The cold temperature inside the restaurant was a common complaint, but some patrons enjoyed the unique charm of the place, including the friendly owners and unpretentious vibe. Overall, the general consensus seemed to be that the restaurant offers standard fare and decent service, making it a suitable choice for a casual meal.
Food: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Overall: Standard fare. Not a bad place if you don’t want to grab a bite. Would I come back: I would if someone wanted to go there. The extended review… Food: Cesar Salad 3/5 Standard fare. The two person was a decent portion. King Salmon en Papillotte 3/5 Pretty standard fare. I’d probably say I could easily make this at home. Service: 4/5 Friendly and attentive service. Ambiance: 3/5 We dined outside which was nice. The interior seemed a little dark.
Great food, service was excellent. Go for the blackened mahi, it was outstanding.
Nice experience Very nice waitress A little bit cold (needed heater turned up) Food was pretty good
I love this place. My husband and I just discovered it a few weeks ago and I came back with a friend last night. The food is wonderful and the menu is has lots of great dishes. The owners are so nice and right there for you all the time. We will go back again. Very soon.
Not crowded. Most likely because it 's off the beaten path embedded in a cute Nob Hill 'hood that doesn 't have much parking Service is friendly and outstanding. The en papillote fish is simply the best I 've ever had outside the home. Easy to get to and an adventure from Market and the square because it right on the Powell-Hyde cable car line. Advice: Get away from all the marquis happy steak places in the glittery market/downtown and try this place
