Description

Henry's Pub in downtown San Diego offers a lively atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. The menu features both Indian and Nepalese cuisine, with the Nepalese dishes receiving positive feedback for their unique flavors. The staff received mixed reviews, with some customers reporting slow and inattentive service, while others praised the attentive and helpful waitstaff. The beer selection was highlighted as a positive aspect, featuring local breweries and a variety of options. Overall, while there were some issues with service and food preparation, Henry's Pub seems to offer a fun and affordable dining experience for those looking to enjoy a night out in the Gaslamp District.

Very nice crafted beers. For me its quite expensive 9$ pero beer but its normal price for the US.

Great service with honest feedback about the food before we ordered. The food was INSANELY good. We had the ribs, the impossible cheeseburger and garlic fries. Highly recommended!

Decent draft selection and good vibes in the SD gaslamp district. I went for a USMNT game that was recommended by the American Outlaws and was disappointed with the turnout. All in all, the staff were nice though and restrooms were clean.

Unfortunately for the server Emily, her blatant disrespect did not go unnoticed. It took over 30 minutes to be acknowledged by a fellow server who let us know our server was Emily. During this time, we managed to observe Emily tend to a group of girls whowere seated next to us within 5 minutes and had waters for them right away. Soon after she had drink orders in for them. Afterher fellow server came and asked if we had been tended to, we let him know that he was the first to greet us and he then said hewould flag Emily down to tend to us. She begrudgingly came to us and finally took our order which by that time, the level ofdisrespect was blatantly obvious. Unfortunately for Emily, she made the mistake to overlook our table several times over thecourse of half an hour while we observed her being attentive to the tables around us. I came visiting from San Francisco and waslooking forward to enjoying my visit here. I generally write reviews to sing praises but this experience compelled me to speakup for reasons that it appeared that Emily showed some obvious prejudice towards our table. I will gladly share my experiencewith the owner and provide additional details about the demographics of the parties being tended or ignored. If you resembleanyone other than Emily, expect to be ignored.

They took our reservation on OpenTable and we showed up to a closed restaurant. No notice. It was our twentieth anniversary of our first date (which was at Henrys). EXTREMELY disappointed they would accept our reservation only to be closed when we arrived. Super lame.
