We went to Da Flora for my fiancee's birthday. Da Flora was a win across the board! The food was excellent, from apps to entrees to homemade bread. The service was also wonderful--our server was friendly and made some amazing recommendations. They were even able to accommodate us when we needed to add two more friends to our party. My husband and I started with the Fava Bean Crostini, which was quite nice, although it could have used a bit more salt and cracked pepper, neither of which were available on the table. I had the Risotto with Duck Ragu, and while it was enjoyable, it felt rather ordinary. My husband chose the Nettle Tagliatelle with truffle cream sauce, and it was definitely the standout dish. The photos truly don't capture how exceptional the food is at this restaurant. The menu, which is handwritten, features the freshest ingredients, and every dish is beautifully prepared. When combined with outstanding service and a lovely, intimate atmosphere, it creates an unbeatable experience.
This is my all-time favorite restaurant! They always serve the best gnocchi, focaccia, and Caesar salad without fail.
