Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service all contribute to a fantastic dining experience that is highly recommended.
Tasty tacos with fresh tortillas and a nice variety of fillings (today?s options: chicken, lamb, fish, egg, sweet potato). A bit pricey but quick and delicious!
I made a reservation with two of my friends and couldn't have been happier. What we ordered: Goat cheese tostadas with quelites and black beans Trout
Nice way to get a preview of Cala, which was incredibly booked during my stay. The tacos were all great and the setting was neat. Felt very much like a secret. A little on the pricier side for tacos, but from the chef of Contramar fame, I'll pay theprice of admission anytime.
Unreal. Went to look at the Hickory Street mural and walked into the shop because someone was putting out a simple sign indicating that there were tacos inside. I ordered only one because it was 11am, and I had lunch plans later. Just wanted to trya taco. And DAMN that was a good taco. It was perfectly cooked, flavored, and presented. I went back the next day to eat more ofthem lol. I ordered the bowl instead of tacos on day two, though. I recommend the tacos over the bowl. While the bowl still hasthe tasty ingredients, there's not as much complexity as the taco in terms of flavors and textures. Excellent place overall.
