What zuzanna ziecina doesn't like about Cafe Coyote:
Food is good, but if you are looking for authentic high quality Mexican food, this is not the place to go. It is a TOURIST TRAP and incredibly Americanized. This place is great for a cheap, low-quality and QUICK meal. The food comes out incredibly fast and the service is quick-to-act as well. They have breakfast served on Friday and on the weekend. Delicious Authentic Mexican food They can accommodate tons of people, I was told they have 3 kitchens, with 15-20 servers. Fast service, fast food, reasonable prices. They have two women hand rolling tortillas out front. View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant in Old Town San Diego offers a mixed experience according to recent diners. While some praise the quick service and fun atmosphere, others feel the food lacks authentic Mexican flavors. Despite mixed reviews on food quality, the margaritas and homemade flour tortillas receive high praise. The atmosphere is festive with mariachi singers and the staff is friendly and efficient. Overall, it seems to be a popular spot for a quick and casual meal, especially for tourists visiting Old Town San Diego.

We've been here for 16 years. This is a family must stop for us every time we are in San Diego. Good food, excellent atmosphere, good people.
Great food. extremely fast service. From sitting, getting orders and getting food, I should say it was all within 10 minutes....
The lines are long and deceiving, but don't be discouraged because you get seated fairly quickly.
After a sweet and gorgeous road bike ride from Oceanside to Old town SD with a girlfriend, I Yelped "margaritas".
