Moby's Pub - Salt Spring Island

I would have visited this restaurant for a fourth time if I had the time. My husband raved about the curry mussels, saying they were the best he had ever had. I wish there was a plant-based option for the thick clam chowder with bread on the side. He also loved the duck wings, and the fries and onion rings were delicious. Special thanks to Hannah for her attentive service. We will be back.

Apparently this is the place to mix with obvious tourists, discreet tourists and locals. Large menu and beverage specialties. If you're looking for a great Chowder, it might not be the place to go, but the duck wings were pretty good!

Apparently, the food prices of Mobys must keep their profits as high as possible. Beer is 9$ food portions are tiny and expensive, and the gurls are grumpy. Not sure how to tap. Next time (if any) I go back, Ill eat before you go, Sip on a beer all night keep the tip. I know what you think. Why? I agree...

Moby's Pub is a decent option if you're not picky about your food. The menu is typical of a pub, and the service is excellent. However, the menu could use some updating, as both dishes we ordered were overcooked. It's disappointing to have Coleslaw done improperly - there are plenty of delicious recipes available. The Coleslaw we were served was like eating straw from a barn, a waste of cabbage. Overall, the dining experience was subpar.

Moby's is the epitome of a great pub. They offer a wide variety of drinks, a delicious selection of pub food, an amazing burger, and generous portions of poutine. The outdoor deck provides a picturesque view of the water, making it the ideal spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
